Many are familar with the classic bottle brush set at home. My intention was to redesign this familiar object as something that you would find comforting and aesthetically soothing to have in your kitchen, and pitch it from a business mindset; to be able to manufactured and sold within a specific brand. I based my inspiration on the Sputnik urchin.
The word "sputnik" has multiple meanings, including "traveling companion" and "fellow traveler". It comes from the Russian word sputnik, which literally means "fellow traveler".
